Sarah has experience representing intended parents, gestational carriers, and donors in various steps of third-party family building journeys. Sarah routinely collaborates and engages with other ART professionals across the country to provide quality representation for her clients, in a legal area that is constantly evolving.
A family may consider donating or matching with a donating family to receive embryos as a part of their family building journey.
Gamete donation may be a step in your journey to become a parent. This step involves donation of gametes (eggs or sperm) from a donor to an intended parent.
Intended parents may consider matching with a gestational carrier to assist in growing their family. Gestational surrogacy involves legal contracting, establishing parentage, and in some cases, second parent adoption.
Second parent adoption is the process of establishing parental rights with a non-genetic parent of a child. This step may be necessary as a part of a donor or surrogacy journey, or may be completed as a confirmatory adoption.
